In part 1 of our travel report we already told you that the first 2 weeks were a fantastic time with even more fantastic people. Yesterday, on October 25, 2019, we received the sad news from close friends that our dear friend, long-time companion and kitesafe.de veteran Wolfgang Machat unexpectedly left life and passed away much too early. We are speechless …
Since the surviving parent does not know all of the kite friends of the ‘Dude’ personally, we are happy to comply with the request and spread the sad news.

On March 16, 2020 the information came that the airports in Egypt should be closed for 14 days. Since we largely received no information about our return flights – see Egypt Travel Blog 2020 Part 2 – we have entered all camp participants in the ELEFAND crisis prevention list of the Federal Foreign Office (if not already done).
