Training procedures
Before the ATTC, the candidate must attend an ATC as an observer. This can be done at any ATC with an assistant trainer. It is the responsibility of the candidate to find an ATC in the training calendar and to contact the organizer or assistant trainer. There can only be one observer per ATC. The assistant trainer candidate must be present throughout the ATC (5 days - 40 hours).
To be certified as an Assistant Trainer, candidates must take the 5-day Assistant Trainer course and confirm all of the criteria. Candidates taking the course fail, will not be certified at the end of the training. In this case you have to do the ATTC again.
The ATTC is carried out at the same time as an ATC . The assistant trainer candidates should have at least two assistant candidates to teach. The examiner assists the assistant trainer candidates, and debriefings are held during breaks and at the end of each day; but it is the candidates who lead the course, only under the supervision of the examiner.
occurrence
- Candidates who meet all requirements MUST apply to the IKO office connect to Get details about the course. The IKO office then confirms the course (or not) to the candidate and examiner.
- The candidates evaluate themselves and decide to take the course.
total cost
Assistant Trainer Course Cost: $ 900 including $ 300 IKO fee. The fee must be paid once the candidate has been selected in order to gain access to the course content.
