In 2019 we have set ourselves the goal of keeping you up to date with a travel blog about our Egypt kitecamp a little more intensively than in the past. It won’t be easy, but we can at least try: the Egypt Kitecamp is not known for a lot of residual energy in the evening. And if we miss a day, please check us out 🙂 Read more “Travel blog Egypt day 1”
So that was it, the first week – in a few hours the first guest of our 2019 Egypt kitecamp is on the way home, but the next guest arrives again shortly afterwards. In the meantime we have increased the group size to 15 people and are thus entering a windy week 2. Read more “Egypt travel blog – that was week 1”
The first calm was there – after 34 days of kite wind … and despite the forecast of light winds and calm we were kiting again for the last few days. We think that’s a pretty good result – and has kept us on our toes since the last post 🙂 The group size is currently 11 people, today and tomorrow are still coming Read more “Egypt travel blog – sandstorm doldrums”
Today we are writing to you from Taiwan, more precisely from Penghu! While we are busy collecting material for a short spot video, we already have two more pieces of information for you!
Updates:
We have spent a lot of time in the last few weeks with the topic of clothes & merchandise and are super happy that we can offer you our clothes now (and not just at the start of the season)!
Have a look in our new shop over – and please tell us your opinion on what we have put together 😉
It gets crowded in Egypt – so here again the information that we cannot accept any further bookings for our supervised kite trip to Egypt from 07.03.-13.03.2020. From 14.03. we have enough space in the bay again. We will be there until April 21, 2020.
And before we jump into the waves again, we wish you a good start to the day and look forward to your feedback!
We already showed you first impressions of the “green” desert a few weeks ago – on the last tour we took even more pictures, which of course we don’t want to withhold from you 🙂 Read more “Egypt travel blog – quad tour”
In the meantime a few days have passed and we are still looking forward to our dolphin visit – in the meantime Jörg, Christoph and Hans have arrived back in Germany, but Edith has been at the start since tonight (and will certainly be one of the first in the water tomorrow :-D). Without big words (because everyone is exhausted apart from the divers anyway): one of the best days ever. And that’s not just related to Egypt …
Wind from the south since breakfast, currently it’s still whistling. Larger umbrella in the air: 15m2, smallest kite 7m2. Various fitness trackers prescribe up to 20 hours of recovery.
Egypt travel blog 2020 – 2 ½ weeks in Wadi Lahami part 1
Awesome.
It’s been the first word that has come through our heads for days.
But let’s start at the very beginning … this travel blog about the Egypt Kitecamp 2020 is a review of the last few weeks and is divided into several parts, as the story around it is a bit unusual (at least for us). The parts are divided as follows:
Today: Part 2 – the world stands still and Corona is celebrating a wild party.
In part 1 of our travel report we already told you that the first 2 weeks were a fantastic time with even more fantastic people. In week 2 the topic of Corona / CoViD-19 found its way more and more into our thoughts and conversations. New guests reported from Europe, controls at the airport and via the web and social media have received more and more worried messages from friends. Whether we are doing well, what the situation is like in the camp, whether we have any idea what is going on in Europe / Germany and much more. Read more “Egypt travel blog 2020 – part 2”
