Egypt travel blog – sandstorm doldrums
The first calm was there – after 34 days of kite wind … and despite the forecast of light winds and calm we were kiting again for the last few days. We think that’s a pretty good result – and has kept us on our toes since the last post π The group size is currently 11 people, today and tomorrow are still coming 3 guests before there are slowly fewer and fewer kiters in the camp and we go back to Germany in 13 days.
And what was going on here? In addition to an immense amount of time on the water, we sipped a lot of Egyptian coffee, took a closer look at the green desert, yesterday crossed our fingers for the German team and tried to ignore the permanent state of exhaustion and sleep away … only works moderately well, as we found out π
Luckily we took a few pictures; it starts today with * drum roll *: kite pictures! As always, thanks to Petze & Co for all the pictures that are not from us π
And otherwise? We are working flat out on the expansion of the new kite station in Loissin and are also preparing for the first kite instructor training 2019 in Loissin: AITC from April 15-19, 2019 , MFA on April 20, 2019 and ITC from April 22-26, 2019 . We keep you up to date!
